You should train smart! And this is what every coach of any sports are saying to their players. No matter what kind of training you have been into, if you don’t train smart, those training system will not just work and training smart also includes some speed quickness training. There are many ways on how to train smart and one of the ways is initiative. You might be confused about this but what it means is, you need to go for the extra mile. If you are playing basketball and your coach taught you to do this and do that, you need to apply it both in practice and the actual game and most importantly, it would be a “plus factor” if you can find other training system to further enhance your abilities. What you are dealing here is for you to find some additional speed training for whatever sports you are in and once you do, you can expect yourself to go far beyond your expectations and the expectations of others.

One good example is Edison Arantes do Nascimento or popularly called Pele. Pele was one of the greatest soccer football players in the world. He was given the title of Athlete of the Century by the International Olympic Committee and TIME Magazine listed him as one of the 100 Most Important People of the 20th Century. Pele is considered as a national icon in his native Brazil. But what really made Pele famous is his unending and constant quest for training. Even if he has learned all that he should learned including some speed and quickness training, he still went for other ways to train himself.
